Good Morning!
EBWOD: "basket"
WOD: "state"
Bonus Code: "fun"
Have a great day!
Has anyone floated down the Bow river in a raft here in Calgary? I am planning on doing it for the first time with some friends this thursday, would you recommend it?
No I have not floated the Bow, although I do agree that it looks like lots of fun! Maybe someday, but I also hear they're cracking down on floaters for some reason...
There are crackin down, on drinking, and those leaving trash around. It stinks that people have been leaving such a mess and have ruined it for others. Also the fact that you are not allowed a couple of wobbly pops, kind of sucks too!
I suppose wobbly pop and water sports don't usually agree, so maybe it's for the best. But I can understand being annoyed at people leaving trash around. All those folks along Elbow drive who have these rafters going through their backyard are right to be upset though if there's trash being left there.
It has been much to cold to even think of going on the Sheep River in Okotoks. You need it to be 35 out to be enjoyable. Otherwise, in past years the Sheep is very fun because it is such a narrow fast moving river with lots of bends and obstacles. It is much funner than the Bow.
