Are there no showcases for this month? Or is Nickelback the best we have...cause that's just mean of Jack.
I thought that I was the only one feeling that way! I try to optimistic that Rogers Media is donating the money that would have provided a showcase to a local charity instead. one of the "showcases" on Lite 96 is a donation to the charity of your choice, kind of a neat idea, but a little guilt trippy if you ask me....Who wants to be the a$$hole that doesn't choose that one?

I really don't like Lite 96 - they put on a big front but, I wonder sometimes. I'll stick to Jack. That said, choosing something other then the donation is not greedy or being an asshole. I'd pick the True VIP or the "All I Want..." showcase. I don't think it's right Lite 96 even puts that as a showcase; like you said, it creates guilt amongst listeners which is wrong. That and, I don't see why Lite 96 doesn't just donate $6500 anyways...minus the whole showcase. Blarg. Done w/ rant.
