Well it's nice to know I'm not the only poor sap to send a prayer up to the big guy like Netgeeks:)
Every once in a while when I send a prayer up like that I quickly end up sending another one about world peace and my family's health being more important than money and then ask him to forgive me for being ungrateful and send a simple thanks up instead for what I do have.
Better to focus on how lucky we are (which isn't hard when you watch the news these days).

Absolutely true, Sue! I was more tongue-in-cheek than serious. Still, it would be nice to be able to retire and be a full-time Grandpa to my little two and a half year old Princess and her soon-to-be brother or sister.
We have much to be thankful for in this world. And it is also important to commit random acts of kindness, they are often repaid in the strangest ways.
