yesterday, Monday, they said they were raffling off the 'home on the rock' prize pack or at least that's what the site said. I hear today that they gave away the Maui trip.
I had over 700 entries into the Nfld pack and now it's gone off the list but no where is it listed if it was won and when. Was that drawn yesterday or was it given away a long time ago? .. are all the points just going into all the draws and then you pick at the time what you want? .. Because if that's the case, I'll never enter another raffle again!
March 4th Early Bird is attacks. It sounds like they only gave away one prize, and the winner was given their choice of which one. Naturally, they took the Maui trip.
I also thought they were giving away all 7 packages...
Thanks to the bloggers who helped get me extra points (and entries) by sharing the Early Bird WOTD. I won the bar of gold on Friday. I hope you too get to say "It pays to be a Freeloader". Sherry

Anyway, just to clarify. The entries from all the 7 prize packs go into one big draw. The winner then gets to choose which of the 7 prize packages he wants.
The way they draw for those raffles, you pretty much have no chance of winning. If they were to draw for each of the 7 prizes, then your chances would be a hell of a lot better. But c'mon, one draw for seven raffles? Good luck.
JACK-FM has gotten itself into a bit of a pickle with the current awards and draws. 3 Issues:
1. They don't have enough prizes for people to spend their points. And when they do, the current system of bidding at a particular time sucks because you have 0% chance of spending your points to buy it because too many of us have over 100'000 points. 2. The raffles suck arse. Plain and simple. If the raffles suck - no one will spend their points on the draws. 3. Their point system needs tweaking - too many people have too many points. When issue #1 and #2 happens, people end up with a lot of unused points.
Something has to change - otherwise, I'm going to turn OFF Jack-FM, and stop using their stupid Freeloader system.
The way I understand it is they put up 7 showcases, but only award one. You can divide up all of your points amongst them, or you can drop all your points on a lifetime supply of grilled cheese sandwiches. If they should call you, however, you still have the option of choosing the trip to Peru even if you never entered into it. I think the option to enter into each showcase is a way to use up your points or to find out who's entering what and how frequently so they can use the information to offer new prizes down the line.
If you don't like to see people whining about not winning, then go somewhere else. This is blog about Jack Freeloaders and that's what people are talking about.
wow, I'm surprised. I didn't intend on getting people all worked up over a simple question. All I was wondering is if the draws were isolated. So thanks to you who answered my question. For those who had nothing but negative things to say .. I think your the ones who need a life. And am hoping your not 'freeloading' off the other blogs as well!
Just to clarify for those who think Jack should give away all 7 showcases each time they offer them. There is no way they could afford it. All the prize packs are of equal value and then they give away one - which is chosen by the lucky winner who had their name drawn. It is no different to enter the draw for these than to buy a Lotto 649 or a Dream House ticket at the Stampede - you hope you are the lucky one.
Really all in all it is free chances to win. They have just put a point system in place instead of having the old phone in and be a certain caller to win. Your chances are just as good as they were with that system.

Would you complain to Stars Lottery that you paid $20.00 and didn't win anything? Should we all be sending in complaints to 6/49 because we've never won anything? It's a small chance to win but there's still a chance, just ask Sherry who won the gold bar. (Huge congrats btw Sherry!) If you don't like it, please don't play that means a tiny bit less competition for the rest of us :)

He/she is always welcoming everyone, wishing happy weekends, thanking everyone for assisting with words. Also think of how much you spent on gambling/649/STARS lottery etc and how much you won from that vs how much you spent, and compare how much you're spending on Freeloaders AND how easy it is to get the correct answers because of this site.

Because we all have access to the WOTD's here we are all getting more points than we would have otherwise. This is likely the cause of so many people having such an abundance of points. I dont think that JackM thought they'd have so many people with so many points competing for everthing.
