Hello all,
I am back from the hospital, baby Sasha is healthy and doing well, and we are all happy to be home after a 5 day stay at the hospital. Sasha developed jaundice and needed to be under light therapy for two days.
THANK YOU SO MUCH you all for covering and for posting the word of the day in comments. With all the night feeding, I may be on and off with posting the words here, but I will try my absolute best. In the meantime please do post new words in the comments section.

Hope you have all enjoyed the long weekend. I managed to go for a hike in Kananaskis yesterday, although a bit cool, Troll falls were wonderful. Did anyone go listen to Deepak Chopra at the Jubilee Auditorium? I thought he was quite good.

Wow, what a fabulous start of the week. The weather out there is glorious! Hope everyone enjoyed their mother's day weekend! I was at the Calgary Zoo on sunday, I love that place..:D
I tried to plant some seeds and tomato plants in my backyard, but everytime I went out, large dark clouds loomed above. After a while I got the hint, I put down my spade, curled up on the couch and read my favorite book instead :D

As you know I am in Chicago this week. Its been a busy conference, yet fun times in the windy city. Managed to do some sightseeing.. and will try and catch the late evening show of "Wicked" in the next few days. Needless to say, I miss home, and look forward to being back home in Calgary this weekend. Lake's are great but so are the Rockies :-)

Just want to take a moment to say "Happy Easter" to all of you.
Also, to remind you, this upcoming week is "World water Week". Let's try our best to be mindful of how we spend this diminishing natural resource. Feel free to let us know in comments how you specifically contributed.

WOW, did we ever get a lot of snow out there... I was driving out of my subdivision in my little Honda Fit, and although my wheels were spinning as I gave the car gas, the car was not going anywhere.. haha.. funny. There were other larger cars stuck all over the place in the piles of sticky snow. Hope the rest of you had a good and safe drive over.
It was funny, as I listened to Jack FM on my way over to work, someone called to comment, that finally we got the snow we needed ont he 20th anniversary of the winter Olympics!! :-)

Good monday morning!
Hope everyone has had a safe and fun weekend, and have enjoyed the wonderful dump of snow in and around Calgary. I was out snowshoeing in Kananaskis country, it was simply fantastic. I am not too hot about the freezing cold this morning however!! :-)

Wow! It's friday already.. and Calgary is a beautiful winter wonderland.. its gorgeous out there, albeit slippery, drive carefully everyone!

Yep here we are again and the EARLY Bird word is "syrup" Luckily some people get up early enough to hear it. I always think of you guys when i am still dreaming :)
