Hello,

WOD for today "translate"

Has anyone read any good books lately, that you would like to share with the rest of us?

I am reading "How can I help" by Ram Dass, its quite insightful and thought provoking. Of course for fun and light reading I always go back to re-reading my collection of Tintin comic books. :-)

have a great day!

Man, I used to love Tintin comics. Our Public Library had stacks of the hardcover ones!

I currently have two books on the go. First one is Ian Fleming's classic "You Only Live Twice". I am working my way through the entire Bond series in chronolical order.

The second one is a book on Texas Hold 'Em called Harringon on Hold Em Volume 3. Must be working, I won a spot in an online World Series of Poker qualifier, top 3 got to Vegas for the World Series of Poker in July.

Well I have been hooked on Robin Cook for some time now. He mainly writes medical mysteries and is just the most facinating writer. I am also a big fan of John Grisham, Joy Fielding and the twisted part of me just loves true crime novels such as Perfect Victim by Christine McGuire. It is the story of "the girl in the box" that was held captive for 7 years during the last 70's and early 80's. I am reading it right now for the 4th or 5th time!

If you like TinTin Comics, you must track down the DVD series. I was traveling back east last summer and found the hole collection of DVD, and it gives you the original French stories and english version.

"Firefly" and "Serenity" are the words today huh? Someone there must be a fan of the Joss Whedon show/movie.
